Netgear GS724TP
De Netgear GS724T is een switch met 24 netwerkpoorten. Via deze aansluitingen voorzie je ook apparaten als access points of telefoons van stroom, met behulp van Power over Ethernet (PoE). Je configureert deze switch via de overzichtelijke webinterface. Zo stel je bijvoorbeeld tot 256 virtuele netwerken (VLAN) in. Daarmee bepaal je wie toegang krijgt tot welk deel van het netwerk. Met Quality of Service geef je belangrijk internetverkeer voorrang: zo komen belangrijke telefoontjes ook binnen als je volop aan het downloaden bent. Je installeert deze switch in een serverkast. Dankzij de 2 SFP poorten, sluit je een glasvezelverbinding aan op deze switch.
